New Moon Sagittarius

New Moon Sagittarius

Its a stormy, delicious day here in Adelaide, lots of rain, rumbling, crashing and flashing. A beautiful energy clearing as we cruise out of our 4 week visit to the dark side of our psyches, since the October New Moon eclipse in Scorpio – and toward the New Moon late tonight in magical, spontaneous Sagittarius, truth seeker and eternal optimist.

This will be a welcome energy shift from the wonderful, shadowy, wild and woolly tangles that have been messing with our comfort zones. All for our own good, as always. We may not have liked what we found in the shadows, but it was necessary and allows us to move into this next phase lighter and clearer in our intention.

Mercury Retrograde – Scorpio

Mercury Retrograde – Scorpio

Mischievous Mercury, Master of the mental plane has entered his retrograde period in the space of Scorpio.

While intuition and all things right brained, flourish in this phase – our rational, left-brain, controlled world is easily rattled and irritated by it – experiencing frustration, confusion and delays in all areas of communication, writing, commerce, planning and negotiating. And of course the effect on our tools of the trade, the ‘puters, phones and wireless, electronic world we rely on and love so much. No wonder there’s a clash!

With a lunar and solar eclipse thrown into the shadow mix, some long buried nuggets will surface. No doubt, we’ll be less than impressed with our first sighting, but stay with it, polish the rough and find the gold within.

Its the time to slow down and embrace the “re” process. Rethink, reconsider, review, renovate, reform, reinvent, recycle, restate, re-communicate, relapse, re-evaluate and the list goes on. Clear the mental filing cabinet (and your office) – Allow some slack for things to go offline and take a few spins through the universal chakra before coming to rest, right way up, at the end of the retro cycle.

You’ll emerge feeling lighter and brighter!

Meanwhile, breathe, laugh, yell, paint, dance, scribble, play, exercise, stock up on alcohol and chocolate.  Commit to walking away from technology and meeting tables often, the beach is looking good!

Aim to work with it, rather than struggle  against it.

Fun times for all – Enjoy!

Lingering Full Moon

Lingering Full Moon

How’re you travelling with Ms Fire breathing, Full Moon energy in glorious Argy Bargy Aries + the Lunar Eclipse added potency? Its full on feisty! Here’s a little more detail on the energy effect that will linger for some time to come.

Ms Moon is sitting with Mr sudden and unpredictable, liberating Uranus – opposite Sun in Ms Libra – Queen of balance, peace and harmony. Jupiter (expansion) and Mars (action, aggression) are also right in there powering everything on.

There’ll be varying degrees of focus on the relationship “Me”-”We” axis.

Feelings may rise about what “I” want, need, desire and perceive is missing, limited or incomplete in me. What “we” need to be happy, successful etc. Or you may be absorbed in what the “other” needs, as a priority. Most of us have been leaning a little too far in one direction or the other. Where ever your focus is, remember that the new balance starts with you, not the other.

You may be fuelled with great determination and insight to make major lifestyle changes.

This energy can shatter old karmic patterns with a blast of fire and sudden clarity. Or bring unexpected insights that simmer along for days, weeks or longer until they pierce our awareness. Regardless of the timing, our choice remains to own what we see – accepting that we are “all that”. The magnificent, shining, powerful, lovely parts + the dark, scary, stinky, not so popular elements. Freedom, authenticity, peace and happiness come from owning our sh*t – the good and the bad – all of it.

Don’t give your power away by trying to hold others responsible for your feelings and choices. You may not be able to control situations, but you can choose how to respond to what is.

There is no avoiding this one! Fantastic clearing energy – whatever arises good bad or neutral (and you’re the one who puts that value on it) it promises to be exactly what we need at this time.

Embrace it.

Tanty Pants!

Tanty Pants!

Who says tantrums are only for 2 year olds? How long since you threw a wobbler? The full shebang – a screaming, ranting, stomping, frustration fuelled tantrum? Complete with tears and indignation?

It may not look pretty – or seem spiritually correct – but, it is authentic.

And it might be the only way that those pent up, locked in, stuck feelings, worries and fears can find their way out of your inner sanctum in that final moment of I’ve had enough!!

We’ve learned to pretend with such ease, that we often have little awareness of the blocks we’re creating with our  weaving, avoiding and manoeuvring to hide how we truly feel and what we really want. Perceiving that our honest expression will risk offending others and attract conflict, judgment, criticism, failure, rejection or disapproval. But we are creating a huge karmic pimple of confusion, resentment, limitation and other stinky feelings as we go. When this results in

. . . a tantrum, its a volcanic display of honesty, spewing red hot truth in all directions.

With a little more stomping and pouting for effect – clarity, insight and relief usually follow, as the breakthrough we need takes place. The reaction we were afraid of from others loses its charge and we can speak-up just like a grown-up.

There are times when a tantrum is the best medicine.
